Publishers dodged GTA 6’s November 19 slot, and October absorbed the pressure. For horror fans it produced the densest month of the year — with Silent Hill: Townfall already out, Hellraiser: Revival arriving in time for Halloween, and Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy closing its trilogy on October 27.

The Three Worth Booking

October 8 — Hellraiser: Revival. Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games adapt the franchise with Doug Bradley reprising Pinhead. It runs first-person survival horror with the powers of the Genesis Configuration — pyrokinesis, telekinesis, Hell Chains — while you chase your girlfriend Sunny out of the Labyrinth. Standard edition is $39.99, Deluxe $49.99; the ESRB rating came through without cuts, which tells you plenty about the tone.

October 8 — Silver Pines. Wych Elm’s detective story sends Red Walker into a near-abandoned town looking for musician Eddie Velvet, and the case curdles into resource-scavenging, puzzles and monsters. It lands the same day as Hellraiser, on four platforms.

October 27 — Remothered: Red Nun’s Legacy. Stormind Games closes the trilogy with a modern survival horror that blends stealth and psychological pressure. Physical editions ship October 27 in EMEA, North America, Australia and New Zealand on PS5, with Switch 2 following on December 3.

The Rest of the Month

Tenebris Somnia (October 16) is the oddity: 8-bit horror interleaved with live-action cutscenes, published by New Blood Interactive. Silent Hill: Townfall arrived September 23 and is already collecting reviews, while Halloween: The Game shipped September 8 for anyone who wants the season to start early. And if you want gothic rather than gore, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse opens a burning 1499 Paris on October 15.
